Cornuda Launches Social Inclusion Project for Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative’s implementation is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and community centers will be established.
The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.
