Cornuda Launches Social Initiative for Vulnerable Residents with €100K Funding

Start of the agreement and participants
On the end of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in ’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the realization of the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
Activities and expected goals
The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.
Social transportation and services, along with listening centers and gathering places, will also be strengthened.

The project intends to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
the Municipal Administration has committed to support the initiatives, ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the different parties involved.
