Cornuda Launches Social Support Project for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community grants.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Transportation services, social transport, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
