Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Community and Regional Support

Start of the agreement and participants

On the day early June 1996, an agreement was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most socially vulnerable people.

A few representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which lasts two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
