Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding from Regional and EU Funds
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the day beginning of June 1996, a treaty was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project dedicated to supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.
Activities and Expected Objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need.
Social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
