On the day beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker groups. Social transport will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
