On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the em>neighborhood association and various voluntary organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and community funds.
