On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda to sign a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the realization of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the groups most in need. Additionally, social transport will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
