Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional and EU Support

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale di Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives from local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will have a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the category groups most in need. Additionally, social transport services, institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be strengthened.
