Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project in favor of the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the District Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the initiatives totals approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

Activities and planned objectives

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services will be enhanced, along with listening and gathering centers.
