Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Launches with Regional Funding

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the day of entries in June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European funds.

Activities and Planned Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering points will be enhanced.
