Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at assisting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European funds.
Expected activities and objectives
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable. Social transport services will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life of the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.
The role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing security and coordination services among the involved components.
Volunteering associations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
