Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Supports Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants included local political and social representatives, such as the mayor, representatives from the neighborhood association, and various volunteering organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, also fostering moments of meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by providing security services and coordinating the various engaged components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
