Cornuda Social Support Project Aims to Boost Social Inclusion and Well-being
On the end of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in’ the operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly people and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and community funds.
Activities and Expected Goals
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization activities for the groups most in need.
Transportation services, social services, listening centers, and gathering places will also be enhanced.
