Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Community Inclusion and Care

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives from local political and social forces took part in the ^’ initiative, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, lasting two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total allocated budget for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European community funds.

Activities and Expected Goals

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker categories.

Additionally, social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
