Cornuda Social Support Project Boosts Inclusion with €100K Funding

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union resources.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the involved individuals, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved entities.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, guaranteeing active participation of the local community.
