Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Inclusion for Vulnerable Groups
Agreement in Cornuda
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.
Planned activities and objectives
Planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
