Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Lives of Vulnerable Groups

Cornuda Agreement

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of this initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be strengthened, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life of the people involved, also creating opportunities for meeting and solidarity among citizens.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Town Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved parties.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
