Cornuda Social Support Project Enhances Lives of Vulnerable Residents

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event was attended by several representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
The project, which will last two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the Municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.
Planned activities and objectives
The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
The project aims to promote social inclusion and enhance the quality of life for the involved individuals, creating opportunities for social interaction and solidarity among citizens.
Role of institutions and associations
The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved parties.
Volunteer associations will play a central role in organizing and managing activities, ensuring active participation of the local community.
