Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale of Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation involved some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total allocated funds for implementing the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed by regional and European funds.

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
