Cornuda Social Support Project Launched by Local Authorities and Volunteers

On June 1996, a convention was held in the hall of Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable individuals.
Some representatives of local political and social forces took part in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which has a duration of two years, particularly aims to improve the quality of life of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.
