Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Improve Vulnerable Residents’ Lives

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the socially most vulnerable individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allotted for the implementation of the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and community funds.

Activities and Planned Goals

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Additionally, social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will be enhanced.

^L’ Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the different involved components.
