Cornuda Social Support Project Launches to Promote Inclusion and Care
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was signed at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association (associazione di quartiere), and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the groups most in need. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
