Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with Community and Institutional Collaboration

Start of the agreement and participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting socially disadvantaged individuals.

Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total allocated funds for the ^’ initiatives amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.

Social transportation, services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
