Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project in support of the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations and various volunteer associations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Social transport and services, listening centers, and gathering spots will also be enhanced.
