Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding and Community Collaboration

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives from local political and social forces took part in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, particularly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
