Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Community Inclusion

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation services will be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
