Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Elderly Care

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On June 1996, at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda, an agreement was held for signing a project supporting the most vulnerable people socially.

Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ^’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of the Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which has a duration of two years, aims in particular to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.

The total amount allocated for the ^’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the weaker categories.

Social transportation and services, listening centers, and gathering spaces will also be enhanced.
