Cornuda Social Support Project Launches with €100K Funding for Vulnerable Residents
Start of the agreement and participants
On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for signing a project aimed at supporting the most socially vulnerable people.
Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the ’ operation, including the mayor, representatives of Neighborhood Associations, and various volunteer associations.
Objectives and funding
The project, which has a duration of two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality.
The total amount allocated for the ’ initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Union funds.
Activities and expected objectives
The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need.
There will also be an enhancement of social transport and services, along with listening centers and gathering places.
