Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The event involved representatives from local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last for two years, mainly aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total allocated funds for the initiative amount to approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Specific Goals

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The municipal administration has committed to supporting the initiatives, ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
