On the day early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda for the signing of a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded with regional and European Community funds.

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the vulnerable groups. Additionally, social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
