Cornuda Social Support Project: Local Initiatives for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale Hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last for two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European Union funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transportation will be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community engagement and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has committed to supporting these initiatives by providing surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.
