Cornuda Social Support Project Promotes Inclusion and Community Care

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Participants in the operation included some representatives of local political and social forces, such as the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will have a duration of two years, mainly aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded through regional and community funds.

Planned Activities and Goals

The planned activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization opportunities for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project aims to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for the people involved, also creating opportunities for community meetings and solidarity.

The Role of Institutions and Associations

The Municipal Administration has committed to supporting the initiatives by ensuring surveillance and coordination services among the various involved components.

Volunteer organizations will play a central role in organizing and managing the activities, ensuring active participation from the local community.
