On June 9, 1996, a convention was held in the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and EU funds.
