Start of the Agreement and Participants
On June 9, 1996, an agreement was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda for the signing of a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Several representatives of local political and social forces participated, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.
Objectives and Funding
The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the quality of life for elderly and disabled residents of the Municipality. The total amount allocated for the implementation of the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, financed with regional and European Union funds.
Planned Activities and Specific Goals
The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training and socialization courses for the most vulnerable. Social transportation will also be expanded, and listening and gathering centers will be established.
