An important alliance has been established between GardaMusei, the Consortium of Lake Garda Lombardy, the Vittoriale degli Italiani, and the Community of Garda. This agreement aims to enhance the cultural and tourist offerings of the area, uniting efforts to promote the historical and artistic treasures that characterize the Lake Garda region.
The GardaMusei Initiative
Founded in 2015 through the Vittoriale degli Italiani, the association GardaMusei aims to enhance the cultural heritage of the shores of Lake Garda. With a network that currently includes 29 members, including the MuSe Science Museum of Trento, the association has initiated a new collaborative phase with the Consortium of Lake Garda Lombardy and the Community of Garda. These new agreements focus on shared activities ranging from the organization of cultural events to the promotion of the region’s historical sites.
Objectives of the Agreement
The agreement includes several initiatives, such as:
- The creation of cultural events that actively involve local communities.
- Educational activities in collaboration with schools and universities.
- Multimedia projects aimed at both Italian and foreign tourists.
- Participation in national and international fairs to increase the region’s visibility.
This synergy represents an opportunity to optimize communication strategies, participate in funding opportunities, and develop targeted activities that will help strengthen Lake Garda’s presence in the national and international tourism landscape.
Projects Already Initiated
The Community of Garda has already launched a project titled “I have what I have donated” in June 2023. This initiative involves the production of multimedia content focused on the artistic and tourist attractions of the 38 municipalities that are part of the Interregional Authority. The storytelling videos created have been shared online through various social media channels, highlighting the unique local realities.
