Lonato, August 11, 2024 – A serious road accident occurred involving two cars along the Sp567, on Via Mantova, near the border with Castiglione delle Stiviere. In the violent head-on collision, five people were injured, including a mother and her daughter, both transported in critical condition to the Civile Hospital in Brescia.
Two helicopters were dispatched to the scene of the accident, one from Brescia and the other from Bergamo, along with several ambulances. The road police and the fire brigade from Brescia were also present to manage the situation. The investigation into the incident has been entrusted to the Carabinieri of Castiglione delle Stiviere.
