Local Partnership Launches 2-Year Initiative to Support Vulnerable Residents

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On early June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

Objectives and Funding

The project, which will last two years, primarily aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents within the municipality. The total funds allocated for the initiative amount to about one hundred thousand euros, financed through regional and European funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the categories most in need. Additionally, social transportation and facilities such as listening and gathering centers will be enhanced.
