The Montebaldina Fair, now in its 272nd edition, will take place in Caprino Veronese from July 31 to August 4. The official inauguration is scheduled for Friday, August 1, featuring a parade through the historic center accompanied by the town band. A particularly noteworthy event will be the Livestock Fair, set for Saturday, August 2, which will include a market for local producers and educational workshops for children. Among the main attractions of the fair is the exhibition “To the Earth – Bruno Rovesti and Antonio Ligabue: A Dialogue on Naive Art,” which will open on Thursday, July 31, at the Palazzo Carlotti museum.
During the five days of the event, numerous summer activities dedicated to culture and entertainment are planned. The program includes the “100Km del Baldo,” creative workshops, street games, and a series of light-hearted challenges such as “tricicliamo” and “ma va’ in cariola.” There will also be food and wine stands featuring local specialties, along with musical performances at various locations. The fair will conclude with a fireworks display on the evening of August 4. The event is organized by the Municipality and the Pro Loco of Caprino Veronese, in collaboration with local associations and merchants.
