Volunteering represents a valuable opportunity for young people to actively contribute to their community, especially during the summer when free time can be used constructively. APSP Casa Mia invites boys and girls to participate in the “IO CI SONO” volunteer projects, offering different ways to be useful and make a difference.

Summer Volunteering Opportunities

For four weeks, from the end of July to the end of August, young people between the ages of 14 and 16 can experience what volunteering means. These summer camps, organized in Riva del Garda, are open from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm, and require weekly registration. Participants will have the opportunity to get to know local associations, carry out activities that are useful for the community, and take their first steps towards active citizenship.

Proposals for Adolescents aged 16 and above

For teenagers aged 16 and above, the “IO CI SONO” summer offers various volunteering activities, including assisting the educational team in summer camps and providing entertainment during events such as the Fairy Tale Night in Riva del Garda and Creative Families in Arco. The proposed activities range from games to creative workshops, face painting, and baby dancing, allowing young volunteers to choose based on their preferences and availability.

The Value of Volunteering

Volunteering is described by the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, as attention and acceptance of others, humanity, respect, and integration. This spirit is well known to all volunteers of APSP Casa Mia, who work diligently to improve the well-being of the community. Volunteering not only enriches those who practice it but also has a positive impact on those who benefit from these actions.

A Story of Generosity

Since its foundation, APSP Casa Mia has benefited from the generosity of citizens who, with their donations and commitment, have contributed to the well-being of minors and families in the area. Every contribution, big or small, is precious in supporting the projects and services offered, improving the quality of life in the local community.
