Recent developments in local artistic news have seen the conclusion of the Premio Paolo VI for contemporary art 2025, now in its fifth edition, with the announcement of the finalists. The event, promoted by the Association of Art and Spirituality, is based at the Paolo VI Collection – contemporary art in Concesio, and focuses on promoting works that explore the spiritual dimension of existence, welcoming submissions from both Italian and foreign artists.
The competition process consists of two distinct phases: a group exhibition of the finalists’ works, scheduled for autumn 2025, followed by a solo exhibition dedicated to the overall winner of the Prize, set for 2026. The seven artists selected by the Scientific Committee from the 110 submitted applications are Vanshika Agrawal, Alessandra Calò, Nicola Evangelisti, Silvia Serenari, Concetta Modica, Kanaco Takahashi, and Liu Zhiyu, whose proposals reflect a profound capacity for existential reflection.
