Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda
Start of the Agreement and Participants
On the beginning of June 1996, a convention was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project aimed at supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative amounts to about one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and community funds.

The activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the target groups. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
