Regional Initiative Supports Vulnerable Groups in Cornuda’s Social Program

Start of the Agreement and Participants

On the beginning of June 1996, an agreement was held at the Casa Sociale hall in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. Some representatives of local political and social forces participated in the event, including the mayor, representatives of neighborhood associations, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, specifically aims to improve the living conditions of seniors and disabled residents within the municipality. The total amount allocated for the initiative is approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European Union funds.

The activities include home assistance services, psychological support, training, and socialization courses for the weaker groups. Additionally, social transportation and institutions, listening centers, and gathering places will be enhanced.
