A violent road accident occurred last night, Tuesday, April 15, along Provincial Road 567 in Desenzano, where two cars were involved in a devastating head-on collision. The impact, which took place around 9:30 PM near the highway toll booth, involved six individuals who were immediately transported to the hospital for examination. The admissions, made at the Civil Hospital and the Poliambulanza in Brescia, were classified as yellow code, indicating that there were no imminent danger situations for the injured.
Following the accident, a massive rescue operation was initiated, with the prompt arrival of firefighters and law enforcement at the scene. The situation necessitated the temporary closure of the road to allow for the necessary operations to remove the wrecked vehicles and restore road safety.
