The Salerno Nautical Center was inaugurated in 1955 and is located in the Lungomare area, near the port.

Its facilities host many students participating in swimming, sailing, and water activities. The structure includes a large covered swimming pool and extensive areas for learning and training.

Students engage in practical exercises, sailing courses, and regattas. Cultural gatherings and conferences on marine conservation are also held there.
