A tragic scooter accident has struck the community of Riva del Garda, resulting in the death of Franco Strobel, a well-known local hairdresser aged 80. The elderly man passed away after more than two weeks of fighting for his life due to the severe physical injuries sustained in the accident that occurred on December 3, while he was near provincial road 37 of Tombio, at the junction for San Giacomo. During the incident, he lost control of the scooter and suffered a severe head trauma that left him unconscious.
Following the prompt arrival of emergency responders, Strobel was urgently transported to Santa Chiara Hospital in Trento, where he remained in the intensive care unit for about three weeks. Unfortunately, his condition deteriorated, and he passed away in the last hours. The news has deeply shaken the local community, which remembers Strobel as a beloved and respected figure.
