A temporary traffic modification has been announced in the historic center of Sirmione, due to building maintenance work affecting the municipal houses on Via Piana. Traffic closures will occur from November 18 to 20, November 25 to 26, and December 2 to 4, with roof renovations requiring the use of an aerial platform. During these dates, Via Piana will be closed starting at 9:30 AM, while a one-way alternating traffic system will be established on Via Vittorio Emanuele, between Vicolo Casello and Piazza Piatti.
To manage vehicle flow, a construction traffic light will regulate traffic during the day; from 8:00 PM, a flashing mode will be activated to give priority to vehicles exiting the center. Despite the restrictions, safe pedestrian passage and access for residents’ vehicles to the construction area will be ensured.
