Tremosine Event Calendar 2023: Festivals, Regattas, Markets, and Music
The Pro loco of Tremosine has announced the event calendar covering the months from spring to autumn. It includes a wide variety of activities—from music of all genres to cultural events, sports, markets, and more.
We start with the San Marco Festival, taking place in Pregasio today, tomorrow, April 24th, and 25th. Almost simultaneously, on tomorrow and Sunday, April 22nd, the Trofeo “Comune di Tremosine” Regatta will be held in Campione.
Spring and early summer events
The month of May will be a rest period (scheduled for May 27th is the “Pianobar Tino’s”, with repeats on June 2nd, 17th, July 30th, August 26th, and September 1st), while June offers several events: from the Parco Alto Garda Trophy Regatta (Campione, June 3rd) to the Curiosity Market (Pieve, June 3rd).
Following that, music events take the stage with the S. Biagio choir of Rivoltella (Pieve, June 9th), the Circo Sterza (Pieve, June 10th, with repeats on July 7th and 26th), and the Tremosine musical review (Pieve, June 16th, July 22nd and 28th, August 2nd, 7th, 9th, and 13th).
There is also room for a comedic dialect theater performance (Pieve’s oratory, June 23rd) and the Feast of St. John the Baptist (Pieve’s oratory, June 24th and 25th).
Summer activities in July and August
July begins with a festival on the first day of the month (with events starting the day before). Next, celebrations for the Alpini at Passo Nota (August 8th) and the “Children as Protagonists” event: scooters, stilt performers, and puppets (Pieve, July 21st). Regattas in Campione follow on July 28th and 29th.
August kicks off (Pieve, August 1st) with the music of the Soft Dixie Band, followed (Vesio, August 2nd) by Celtic music performed by “Moonshiners”. Football activities at the Pieve oratory (August 4th and 10th), regattas (August 24th, 25th, and 26th), and numerous festivals across the area make August a lively month.
Highlighting Tremosine’s events is the Civil Protection Festival, held in Vesio on August 18th. September also offers lively moments, including the final of the “Zuccone di Tremosine” (Pieve, September 16th) and the conclusion of Tremosine fa da fiore.
Markets and autumn initiatives
The entire summer is dotted with the itinerant curiosity markets: June 3rd in Pieve, July 15th in Vesio, July 29th in Campione, August 8th in Vesio, August 14th in Pieve, and September 2nd in Pieve. These events offer a variety of options suitable for all tastes.
It is also worth mentioning the new edition of “Musical Itineraries”, now in its fifth edition. This year, the event has been spread throughout the entire season and will be held at the Vesio church (June 15th, with Luca Scandali at the organ).
Then, on July 31st, Pieve hosts the next event featuring Rosetta Crosatti Silvestri, soprano, with Andrea Rosa at the piano. The third installment takes place on August 11th at the San Michele hermitage (Cesare Maffei and Stefano Lonati on violins, Valentina Ponzoni on cello).
In Campione, Concertus Antiquae Musicae will be held on August 31st, and the season concludes in Pieve on September 9th with the Montorfano Choir of Coccaglio, directed by Andrea Rosa.
