UNICEF Project in Sirmione Schools Wraps Up, Delivering Future-Ready Learning Spaces

The final event of “I Mattoni del Futuro” took place on June 4 at Istituto Comprensivo II Trebeschi, promoted by UNICEF and YOUNICEF Brescia to support children’s right to education in Côte d’Ivoire. The meeting was attended by Mayor Luisa Lavelli and education delegate councillor Miria Bocchio, with the initiative presented through a report from the Comune di Sirmione.

During the school year, students developed projects and reflections on solidarity, environmental sustainability, and access to education. The programme involved around 500 pupils and also highlighted the concept of “bricks” made from recycled plastic, linking environmental protection with international cooperation.
