Cornuda Social Inclusion Project Boosts Support for Vulnerable Groups

On June 9, 1996, a convention was held at the hall of the Casa Sociale in Cornuda to sign a project supporting the most vulnerable social groups. The operation was attended by some representatives of local political and social forces, including the mayor, representatives of the neighborhood association, and various volunteer organizations.

The project, which will last two years, aims primarily to improve the living conditions of the elderly and disabled residents in the municipality. The total amount allocated for implementing the initiative amounts to approximately one hundred thousand euros, funded by regional and European funds.

Planned Activities and Objectives

The planned activities include home care services, psychological support, training courses, and socialization programs for the most vulnerable groups. Social transport services will also be enhanced, and listening and gathering centers will be established.

The project seeks to promote social inclusion and improve the quality of life for those involved, also creating opportunities for community encounters and solidarity among citizens.

The municipal administration has reaffirmed its commitment to support the initiatives by ensuring surveillance services and coordination among the various involved components.
